ZOE - the meaning of life | Photographic Project
We live in a hectic world, constantly accelerating. Daily life increasingly rarely allows us to pause and think. Even more seldom are our thoughts directed towards our own existence. Who are we? Why are we here? What comes after death? How do we attain happiness? What is love? Does love truly exist?It seems that questions of a certain kind require an adequate space to emerge. There is indeed a need for a kind of emptiness that surrounds us, isolating us from the frenzy that grips the mind every day, keeping it constantly engaged.
The ZOE project (from Greek, 'life') arises from the need to take a moment to listen to ourselves. Because I believe that only by doing so can we learn to listen to others. Because I believe that now more than ever, this world urgently needs to pause and restart with more tranquility of mind and lightness of spirit.
Each person has their own story, and for that reason alone, they deserve to be told and listened to.
I am very grateful to those who have chosen to contribute their thoughts to the project. I hope that each of their words can make those who listen reflect or be inspired.
